We are a social group that attends a variety of films together--indie, arthouse, foreign, documentaries, classics, and occasionally popular films. After a movie, we often gather at a café or restaurant for casual conversation about the movie, about other movies, and other topics. I'm relatively new to Seattle and I would like to start up a group that collaborates and produces short films on a regular basis. More than just a networking or discussion group, I would like this to be an active group that produces work consistently. We share scripts and story ideas, vote on one to produce, and we do it. We pool our resources and we make movies - hopefully every other month. We can submit these movies to festivals or just screen them for ourselves for critique and discussion.
