An Uruguayan human rights prosecutor (played by Roxana Blanco) in post-junta Montevideo must investigate her own family’s role in the country’s military past after the covered-up kidnapping of a notorious Chilean biochemical engineer.

“ Well, I think I neglected to mention the FREE Mimosa's at the Brunch, which somehow lasted longer than the food (which was gone by the time I'd downed my first of several drinks). Thanks to Barbara, Cora, Dave, Dee, and Alliah (who brought her own meetup & then joined up with an online Latino group also at the event. The panel discussion was awkwardly presented from a bench and without a microphone, but the film and Q&A after were well-done. This film plays one more time in the fest (Sept. 24th) if anyone is interested in seeing a piece of recent South American history played out with solid acting and marvelous cinematography. Thanks for showing up and making me look good. I'm sure the filmmakers appreciated the full seats too. ”
